Counts of Leuven

The Counts of Leuven and Brussels were originally petty barons of the central region of Belgium. They acquired great influence in the Holy Roman Empire and acquired more titles over time. In 1183, they were created Dukes of Brabant.

- Lambert I (+ September 12, 1015)
- Henry I (1015-1038), son
- Otto (1038- <1041), son
- Lambert II (<1041- + June 19, 1054), second son of Lambert I
- Henry II (1054-1079), son
- Henry III (1079-1095), son
- Godfrey I (died January 25, 1139), second son of Henry II
- Godfrey II (died June 13, 1142), son
- Godfrey III (died August 21, 1190), son
