Courting Alex was a American sitcom that aired on CBS. The show debuted on January 23, 2006 and was a vehicle for Jenna Elfman of Dharma & Greg fame.

Elfman portrayed Alex Rose, a successful, single attorney who worked with her father Bill (Dabney Coleman) at his law firm. Alex struggled with dating while looking for love in a big city. Her father wanted her to settle down with her coworker Stephen, a star lawyer at the firm who is smitten with her. Alex relied on the advice from her assistant Molly (Jillian Bach) and British neighbor Julian (Hugh Bonneville).

Comedian (Wayne Federman) has a recurring role as office sycophant, Johnson.

This show's working titles were Everything I Know About Men and The Jenna Elfman Show. The stage for the office where Alex works is a redressed version of the Winfred-Louder Department Store set used by The Drew Carey Show.

Despite initially good ratings, when it led out of Two and a Half Men, a move to a new night caused ratings to fall severely. On May 17, 2006, CBS announced that the program is cancelled.
