A craftsman is:

An artisan who practices a handicraft or trade, also trade (profession) (the term craftswoman is also used and a craftman's work exhibits craftsmanship);
A style of architecture and furniture arising from the British Arts and Crafts style,
American Craftsman style is an American domestic architectural and interior design style popular from the 1900's-1920's developed from the design concepts found in a magazine published by Gustav Stickley called The Craftsman.
A military rank within the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, equivalent to a private; and
A brand of tools, which is also the current sponsor of the Craftsman Truck Series
