Craig Anderson (

1981 in
Park Ridge,
Illinois) is a
professional ice hockey player who currently plays goaltender for the
National Hockey League's
Florida Panthers. He was drafted by the
Chicago Blackhawks in the
2001 NHL Entry Draft. He was chosen with the 73rd overall selection in the 3rd round. He was traded to the
Florida Panthers in
2006, where he will likely compete with
Alex Auld (who was also acquired via trade during the 2006 offseason) for starting goaltender duties.
