Craig Hartsburg

Craig Hartsburg (born June 29, 1959 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman who played ten seasons with the Minnesota North Stars of the National Hockey League from 1979-80 until 1988-89. He also been an NHL head coach with the Chicago Blackhawks and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

Hartsburg was drafted 6th overall by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. He played 570 career NHL games, scoring 98 goals and 315 assists for 413 points. In his best offensive season, 1981-82, he set career highs with 17 goals, 60 assists, 77 points and a +11 plus/minus rating.

He currently coaches the Junior A Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. He is considered the leading candidate to take over the head coaching job with Team Canada's World Jr team.
