Creflo Dollar

Dr. Creflo Augustus Dollar Jr. (born on January 29, 1962, College Park, Georgia) is a pastor and the founder of the World Changers Church International, based in College Park, Georgia (near Atlanta). He is associated with the "Word of Faith" movement.
Known for his dynamic style, Dr. Dollar started his ministry in 1986 with eight people, and now has a congregation of 23,500. His "Changing Your World" television program is seen both in the United States and internationally. His home church is located in the Atlanta area of College Park, and has a new satellite church in New York, begun in 2004.
Many of Dr. Dollar's followers believe that his Rolls Royces, private jet, million-dollar Atlanta home and Manhattan apartment confirm the validity of his "prosperity gospel" teachings. Critics, however, believe his lifestyle is proof of nothing more than the generosity of his parishoners and their faith in God's blessings.
Dr. Dollar has been involved in a controversial event. During the divorce of former heavyweight boxing champion, Evander Holyfield, Dollar played a role in the transfer of some of the assets of the champion that some believed was designed to hide those assets. On another occasion, Dr. Dollar made cash payments as a show of "appreciation" to law enforcement officers in Fulton County.
