hotels catering to the business/meetings market. They are owned by the
InterContinental Hotels Group. Formerly
Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Crowne Plaza dropped the
Holiday Inn name in
1994. The hotels are usually located in city centres and near major airports. Crowne Plaza hotels are found in the
United States,
Canada,
Mexico, the
Caribbean,
South America,
Europe,
Africa, the
Middle East,
Asia, and
Australia.
