Crystal is a freeware software synthesizer, running on Windows, Mac and Linux in the VST environment.
Crystal is developed by Green Oak, and uses subtractive synthesis and frequency modulation techniques to create complex sounds. Crystal is one of the most versatile freeware software synthesizers available. Besides standard features like multiple parameters, built-in effects with band splitting; a special feature is the ability to breed new sounds from existing ones while adding mutations.
