Culemborg

[Culemborg] is a municipality and a city in the centre of the Netherlands. The city is situated just south of the Lek. The cities of Utrecht and 's-Hertogenbosch can easily reached by train.
It received city rights in 1318.
Trivia
During Carnival, Culemborg is called Papklokkendam. Culemborg was once evacuated when the danger of the flood came very close. Culemborg is located on the river Lek.External links
