Cult of Mac
Encyclopedia : C : CU : CUL : Cult of Mac
"The Cult of Mac" is a popular term used to refer to the group of Apple Macintosh owners, those who aspire to become one, and those who admire the Macintosh "lifestyle". It is also the title of a very popular blog authored by Leander Kahney and hosted by Wired News. ([The Cult of Mac Blog])
The Cult of Mac Blog
The blog basically deals with two major areas — user-contributed pictures, stories and hacks; and interesting news updates from the world of Apple Computer.
An example of the former kind of article is [The Portable Mac OS X Geek] which highlights a Mac user's ability to connect to his PowerBook through a PDA using VNC. News updates from Apple include stories about its charismatic CEO, Steve Jobs, his ideas, thoughts and presentations at important events like MacWorld. Apple news also includes information about the company's latest products, recently including the iPod (with video) and the intel-based iMac.
The Cult of Mac Book
Leander Kahney, the author of the Cult of Mac blog also published a book under the same title (ISBN 1886411832).
