Cuyunon

The term refers to a group of people populating most parts of Palawan and their native dialect.
Cuyunons are originally from Cuyo Islands, a group of islands and islets in Sulu Sea, in the western section of Palawan. They are considered the elite class among the hierarchy of native Palaweños. They are very religious and disciplined. They also have a highly-developed community spirit.
