Cynanchum

Cynanchum is a genus of about 300 species including the Swallow-worts, belonging to the family Apocyanaceae. The taxon name comes from Greek kynos (meaning "dog") and anchien ("to choke"), referring to the toxicity of these plants. Most species are all non succulent climbers or twiners.
