Cynthia McFadden (born May 27, 1956 in Lewiston,Maine) (adopted) is a Senior Legal correspondant for ABC News. McFadden is also an actress and television journalist who is mostly well known for her role as Co-Anchor on ABC News Nightline and reporter for ABC's TV-series 20/20. McFadden graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Bowdoin College in 1978. She received her law degree from Columbia University. She has been divorced twice and has a son, Spencer Graham McFadden Hoge, who was born in 1998 and was named after the late actor, Spencer Tracy[link]. McFadden is also the executor to the will of long time friend and fellow actress Katharine Hepburn.
