Dâmboviţa River

The Dâmboviţa River (spelt Dîmboviţa in pre-1993 Romanian orthography) is a river in Romania that has its source in the Făgăraş Mountains and flows southward to traverse Bucharest and meets Argeş River 258 kilometres from its source, near Budeşti, in Călăraşi County.
Dâmboviţa county is named after this river.
