D'Bora

D'Bora (real name D'Bora A. Lippett) is an American female dance artist. Her debut single, "Dream About You" was a chart topper in the UK's clubs. It also topped the import charts, yet ironically it only limped to #75 in September 1991. The album version was remixed by Steve 'Silk' Hurley as a single. The album was called "E.S.P". It bombed also in the UK. Four years later, on a new label (MCA records), D'bora released her US and UK club hit "Going Round" as a single. It hit the UK Top 40 (#40). The follow-up, "Good Love, Real Love", although a club smash, was unsuccessful in the UK singles chart (#58). A 1999 single, "Honey", performed worse still, failing to even reach the UK Top 75, but it was a moderate dance club hit.

D'Bora joined the US Navy in 1992.

D'Bora has 3 children. She is married to a US marine.

In the US, D'Bora released a track from her "E.S.P" album as a single: "Love Desire".
