D-Day is a wargame manufucatured by Avalon Hill first in 1961 and later re-released in 1965, 1971, 1977 and 1991. The game depicts D-Day, also known as the Battle of Normandy.

The game is an operational/strategic simulation of the Western Front between June and September, 1944. It simulates the invasion by the Allies of France on 6 June, 1944 during World War II, while it was occupied by the Axis Powers. Despite its title, the game focuses primarily on the campaign to liberate France, while the invasion itself is a fairly perfunctory affair completed on the first turn.

One unique aspect of the game offers the Allied player the choice of where to invade. Players may (and most often do) choose the Normandy beach where the actual invasion took place, but are free to invade at several other alternate locations, including the southern coast of France.

Although other games with much more complexity and realism have since been released, D-Day is still popular among wargame fans. It is one of a handful of games released in the 1960s by Avalon Hill which share a similar move-attack-advance game system (others include Stalingrad and Afrika Korps). It is still played in tournaments today, although not nearly as much as in the past.
