Dadi

"Dadi" is also a term in Javanese gamelan, see irama.

Dadi is the Turkish version of the American television sitcom The Nanny. It uses almost exactly the same stories as the original scripts, translated from the original English. Jewish religious references are resolved as Muslim references.

Gülben Ergen plays Melek, the Nanny and Kenan Isik plays Ömer, owner of a television network. The program is set in Istanbul.

It is broadcast to countries outside Turkey such as Australia, where it is shown on SBS.
