Vice-Admiral "Marquis" Daigo Tadashige,as nobility member of Kazoku lineage and Commander of Japanese Naval Forces.

Daigo Tadashige was former Commander of war vessel ASHIGARA,later receiving the leading (Commander-In-Chief) (CINC),of the Imperial Sixth Submarine Fleet.he amongst the Vice Admiral Jisaburo Ozawa,now CINC,Combined Fleet,issues and developed the "Battle Order No. 95" that details the impending special operation.These bombing attack is designated as Operation ARASHI,the special strike against U.S. forces in Ulithi attol.

Near at Maizuru Naval base,in departure ceremony is held at the Shiraito Inn,the Vice Admiral Daigo Tadashige greets the 631st Kokutai(air group) aviators Lt.Atsushi Asamura(as operative leader),Masayoshi Fukunaga,Lt Toru Yoshimine ,CPO Hideo Wakasa and WO Shimaoka,CPO Okuyama,CPO Watanabe,Lt Asamura,Ensign Takano, Lt(jg) Hiroo Takeuchi,CPO Nishino,Lt(jg)Kazuo Takahashi and CPO Noro amongst the I-400 and the I-401 crewmembers for a farewell sake toast and wishes them success in your special operation against Americans.
