"Damien" is episode 108 of Comedy Central's animated series South Park. It originally aired on February 4, 1998.
Plot
In anticipation for his birthday party, Cartman hands out invitations during class. On each invitation is marked a Mega Man character that each is to buy for Cartman:- Green Mega Man: Stan (though he actually gives him a blue one; apparently this is an error)
- Red Mega Man: Kyle (Gives him the game, Ants in the Pants instead)
- Yellow Mega Man: Kenny
- Mega Cycle: Clyde
- Yellow Mega Man: Wendy (Kenny can't get it since he's turned into a duck-billed platypus)
- Mega Man Beach House: "Two people at once since it costs more money"
Joining class for the first time is Damien (probably named after the child in The Omen). After Mr. Garrison introduces him, Damien says he's from "the seventh layer of hell." To which, Mr. Garrison replies that his mother is also from Alabama. Foreshadowing what is to come, Damien states, while standing on Mr. Garrison's desk, that now is the beginning of the end and the reign of his father: the prince of darkness. Mr. Garrison glosses over his bold statements and asks Damien if he needs a "time out."
During lunch, Damien turns Kenny into a duck-billed platypus. After Chef sings a sensual song about not liking people because they're different, Damien brings the cafeteria into complete disarray until Jesus is brought to him. He continues his wrath on the playground.
When Jesus shows up at the playground, he tells Damien to let Satan come and he will face him. While waiting for Satan to show, the whole town manages to show up at the playground. Although Satan does not show, Damien informs everyone that the final battle will be the next day. The final battle will be held at the South Park Forum and can be watched on pay-per-view for $49.95. Naturally, Cartman is pissed off that the final fight between good & evil will be held on his birthday. In anticipation of the fight, the entire town bets that Jesus will win the fight. After Satan shows up, the entire town goes back to the bookie to change their bet to Satan winning.
To prepare for the fight, the boys try to get Chef and Jesus to box. Chef manages to knock Jesus out with a single punch.
At Cartman's party, Damien and Pip show up. In order for Damien to "warm up" on the boys, he opens a pit of fire and lets black ghosts throw Pip in the air where he explodes. Impressed by the fireworks display, the boys welcome him to join the party. While opening his presents, Kyle was supposed to give Cartman a red Mega Man but instead gives him the game Ants in the Pants as the stores were all out of red Mega Mans. Enraged that he can't get the Ultra Mega Man, Cartman attacks Kyle and promptly cancels the party, ordering everyone out; they all go to see the fight.
At the fight, the referee informs Satan and Jesus that he, "want[s] a good clean fight, guys. No punching below the belt, holding, or miracles." Satan lands punch after punch on Jesus without retaliation. When Stan shows up from Cartman's party, he gives Jesus a small pep talk about how Nancy Kerrigan wouldn't give up until she was #1. Kyle interrupts him to tell him that Nancy got the silver medal (second place). Instead, Stan tells him, "Don't try to be a great man, just be a man." When Jesus asks who said that, Stan tells Jesus that he did but Stan actually heard it on Star Trek).
Inspired by Stan's words, Jesus punches Satan in the lower-forearm and Satan throws the match. It transpires that the only bet on Jesus winning was Satan and thus takes the town's money. The town asks for Jesus' forgiveness and he replies, "Aww heck, do I have a choice?"

Trivia
- This episode was made in-between the production of Starvin' Marvin and Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo, due to the fact that this episode, in which Jesus and Satan fight, was going to be the Christmas episode.
- Whenever Damien appears onscreen, we hear a choir of voices chanting in what sounds like Latin. The voices are actually saying "Rectus… Dominus… Cheesy Poofs…" ("Rectus Dominus" is cod Latin for "Ass Master" which is an often used insult on the show, and Cheesy Poofs is Cartman's favorite snack)
- Throughout the episode, whenever a shot of the 3rd grade class is shown (the back wall that has the number on them) the numbers "666" appear in red with the rest of the numbers. The black board reads some calculations and mathematical formulas, amongst them 2x + 3y + 1 = 666
- Damien was originally going to be voiced by Beavis and Butt-Head/King of the Hill creator and voice actor Mike Judge. Due to the fast production on South Park, however, Judge was unable to record new lines. Judge later did the voice of the unhooded Kenny in .
- The Megaman toys Cartman wanted resemble the Power Rangers and possibly the Zords from the same show. Contrary to popular belief, the Megaman toys are not related to Capcom's Mega Man series.
- You can see a visitor (one of the South Park aliens) cheering for Satan when he's announced in the ring. He can also be seen again (quite clearly) to the left of the Screen just after Jesus asks if he has a choice in forgiving the town. In addition, when debris are flying around before Satan's appearance, one of the things that flies by is a miniature visitor.
- Stan saying that the "Don't try to be a great man, just be a man" quote is from the Bible to Jesus, but actually from Star Trek, is part of an in-joke at TV companies that believe that Star Trek is quoted more often than the Bible. The actual quote came from and was said by Commander Riker to Zefram Cochrane (Riker subsequently attributes the quote to a future Cochrane).
- According to the DVD commentary, Pip was originally supposed to die in this episode but they decided not to kill him off because they needed him for crowd scenes.
- The character of Damien is a reference to Damien from The Omen, as is the Latin chanting that accompanies him.
Kenny's death
- Shot by Uncle Jimbo being mistaken for a duck-billed platypus.
