Danai Udomchoke (born August 11, 1981) is a professional tennis player from Thailand. He was born in Bangkok, where he still resides. He turned professional in 1998, and is coached by Alex Radulescu. He is 172 cm tall and weighs 70 kg, or 5 foot 8 inches and 154 lbs, respectively. He is currently (June, 2006) ranked at 97 in the world; his career best is World No. 95, obtained on the week of May 1, 2006. His highest profile match is his 2006 Australian Open 1st round match against No. 3 seed David Nalbandian. After starting out slowly, Udomchoke shocked Nalbandian in the next two sets, taking them both. But his energy soon wore out, and despite pushing the World No. 3 to five sets, he lot 2-6, 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4), 1-6.
