Dar Al-Hekma College (Arabic: كلية دار الحكمة الأهلية) in Jeddah is the first private college for women in Saudi Arabia. All courses are taught in English except Arabic and Islamic Studies.
By the mid-1990s, community leaders in Jeddah decided to found a school that would offer 4-year college education while adhereing the Islamic culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working in conjunction with non-profit Texas International Education Consortium, the College opened its doors in September 1999 planning on a total enrollment of 1500 students in 2005.
The school currently offers five bachelor's degrees: BSc. Management Information Systems, BSc. Special Education, BSc. Nursing, B.A. Interior Design, and B.A. Graphic Design.
