Dark Mind
Encyclopedia : D : DA : DAR : Dark Mind
Dark Mind is a fictional character in the Kirby series of games for Nintendo. He is the final boss of Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and the true villain of the game. He dreams of conquering the Mirror World and would love nothing more than to realize that dream. Though it is unknown whether he is affilated with the Cloaked Nightmare or Dark Matter or himself, he looks strikingly like both. He has three forms that Kirby has to fight in order to save the Mirror World.
Dark Mind Form 1
After Kirby defeats Dark Meta Knight, he teleports to a strange area where he can find and pick up Master, which Meta Knight has thrown there with him. Once he does, Dark Mind apepars and the fight begins. He looks a lot like a variation of Nightmare with a Dark Matter-esque eyeball for a body, but he is complete with a skull for a helmet, more horns, spiked armor on his Dark Matter-esque body, and glowing yellow eyes, and he rarely smiles. Another, similar fictional character who rarely smiles is Pie from Tokyo Mew Mew.Dark Mind attacks with his mirrors and by throwing stars at Kirby, which he can inhale and fire back at him, though it's hard to do since his mirrors may get in the way and absorb them. But using an ability is Kirby's best bet against Dark Mind. Kirby must fight Dark Mind four times, after which after each fight, Kirby gets to go to a room where there's plenty of healing items. In the second fight, there'll be additional platforms for Kirby to strike at Dark Mind from. In the third fight, there'll be water off to the sides, and in the fourth fight, the platform will be very icy, plus Dark Mind will also start dropping disco ball-like bombs that if left alone too long will cause a devastating explosion. After he is defeated for the fourth time, his Nightmare-esque body will vanish, leaving behind his Dark Matter-esque body.
Dark Mind Form 2
In this form, Dark Mind's body gets way bigger than it was in his previous form, and he uses his mirror attacks and disco ball bomb attacks from before (though the bomb attacks seem rarer now, even though he usually does that when the level's flipped), plus, he has new moves. He attacks with giant laser beams, plus he'll also throw out three random enemies. The only way Kirby can hurt him is when his eye is open, but Kirby can also attack the mirrors. If he loses Master, sometime later Shadow Kirby will deliver it back to Kirby. After taking enough damage, Dark Mind's body shrinks back to his normal size and he flies away, leaving Kirby to chase after him.Dark Mind Form 3
This is the final form of Dark Mind. Here, Kirby chases after him on his Warpstar, which he can fire stars at him from. Dark Mind will attack by shooting stars and charging at Kirby, but it's not that big of a deal, even though it is here that Kirby cannot use his cellphone to call his three multicolored look-alike friends. Upon Dark Mind taking the last bit of damage on his health meter, the credits will roll and you can keep firing at Dark Mind with Kirby's Warpstar. Don't worry, even if Kirby gets hit, the credits will still roll. It doesn't matter how many times you hit Dark Mind before the credits end, as he will explode afterwards, regardless of how many hits he took from Kirby's stars.{| align="center" class="toccolours" style="width: 40em; text-align: center;" |- ! style="background:#FFCCFF;" | |- | style="font-size: 90%;" |Main characters |- | style="font-size: smaller;" |Kirby | Meta Knight | King Dedede | Cloaked Nightmare | Whispy Woods | Dark Matter | Waddle Dee | Other characters |- | style="font-size: 90%;" | Minor characters |- | style="font-size: smaller;" | Dark Mind | Drawcia | Poppy Bros. | Ribbon | Kracko | Kirby series enemies | Star Warrior | Sirica | Ice Dragon | Majuu | WolfWrath |-
