Darlene Conley (born July 18, 1942 in Dublin, but raised in Chicago) is an Irish-American actress, most known for her long-running role as Sally Spectra Alexander Garrison on The Bold and the Beautiful. She is known for her larger figure, jovial personality, and sizable red coiffure.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, she traveled around with the Chicago Uptown Circuit Players and Playwrights Company. She earned a bit part in the movie The Birds, which was followed by similar small roles in movies like Valley of the Dolls and Lady Sings the Blues.

A well-received performance as Rose DeVille on The Young and the Restless followed, with Conley playing many small roles on other soaps for most of the 1980s. An encore as Rose DeVille inspired William J. Bell to cast her as flamboyant fashion maven Sally Spectra on his newer serial. She has earned two Outstanding Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy nominations since her first appearance in 1988.

She is close friends with Fabio, who has appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful a number of times in the past, usually under the guise of celebrating her birthday. She is also friends with Phyllis Diller, who also appears from time to time as Sally's friend Gladys.
