A Deelgemeente is a subdivision of Belgian municipalities. Each municipality which existed as a separate entity on the first of January 1961 as a separate entity, and which no longer existed as a separate entity after the first of January 1976 is considered a deelgemeente from some bigger municipality.

In general these Deelgemeenten are not a level off administration. Only in the city of Antwerp they are the lowest level of administration and are usually called 'districten'.

Deelgemeenten are similar to the Dutch sub-municipal goverments called stadsdelen.
