Delaware River (Kansas)

The Delaware River in Kansas is located in the North-Eastern part of the state. The Delaware River basin drains 1117 square miles from the outflow of the Perry Lake (reservoir). The river was classified as a Catergory 1 wastershed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, meaning that the watershed was in need of immediate restoration and protection.
