The Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland is a North Korean popular front of political parties led by the Workers Party of Korea (WPK). It consists of the WPK, the Korean Social Democratic Party and the Chondoist Chongu Party; however, the WPK holds all but a handful of seats and candidates for each constituency run unopposed. Every candidate for election has been a member of the front since the founding of North Korea. ^{[#endnote_state]}
