Dennis Mahan Michie

Dennis Mahan Michie was instrumental in starting football at the West Point Academy in 1890. He organized, managed and coached the first football team in history at West Point.

Michie learned from the famous coach Jim Hardy, who is famous for inventing the Carriage push offense seen in college football.
