Der Barbier von Bagdad (The Barber of Baghdad) is an opera in two acts by Peter Cornelius to a German libretto by the composer, based on The Tale of the Tailor in A Thousand and One Nights. It was first performed at the Hoftheater in Weimar in 1858.

The opera is through composed. It is set in Baghdad in legendary times.

Der Barbier von Bagdad is not part of the standard operatic repertory. There is a recording of it. It is rarely performed.
