Derek Fowlds (born 2 September 1937 in Balham, London) is an English actor.
Derek Fowlds became familiar to British television viewers as "Mr Derek" in the children's series The Basil Brush Show.
Probably his most famous role, however, was that of Bernard Woolley in Yes, Minister and its sequel Yes, Prime Minister, alongside Paul Eddington and Nigel Hawthorne.
More recently, he has played Sgt Oscar Blaketon in the long-running ITV police drama series Heartbeat. Fowlds is still appearing in the role, although the character is now a retired policeman turned publican.
He was previously married to the actress Adrienne Corri.
