Derrick Walser (b. 12 May, 1978 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada) is a Canadian ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL.

Walser was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Calgary Flames on 16 October, 1998. Walser has played 82 career NHL games, scoring 6 goals and 21 assists for 27 points.
