"Destiny's Child" is the debut album released by the same-titled R&B group. The album was released in 1998 and featured the singles "No, No, No" and "With Me". The LP won Best R&B/Soul Album of the Year: (Destiny's Child) at the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards.
Chart Performance
Although failing to break the top 50 off the Billboard 200 the album did eventually go Platinum. In The U.K the album debuted in the top fifty of the album chart on the strength of its lead single No No No but quickly fell. It charted a total of four non-consecutive weeks. Despite this the album did go on to sell 3 million copies worldwide after later success.
