Dichlorine heptoxide, Cl2O7, is a chlorine oxide.
Dichlorine heptoxide is the anhydride of perchloric acid; it is related to perchlorates generally.
Dichlorine heptoxide melts at -91.5 °C and boils at 82 °C.
It is highly explosive and can be produced by the extremely careful distillation of concentrated perchloric acid. It dissolves in water to form perchloric acid.
