Dingle (also known as "The Dingle") is an area in the city of Liverpool, north-west England. Dingle is traditionally a Protestant area.
The BBC television series Bread, written by Carla Lane, was filmed in Dingle.
Ringo Starr, The Beatles' drummer, was born in Dingle in 1940.
The Dingle is surrouunded by such areas as toxteth and also aigburth
