Dino (The Flintstones)

Dino is a fictional character featured in the Hanna-Barbera animated television series The Flintstones and its spin-offs. He is a pet dinosaur to Fred and Wilma. He is a metaphorical dog with the characteristics of a pet canine. In one episode, "The Snorkasaurus Hunter" (Season 1, Episode 13), Dino is portrayed as a talkative, wisecracking dinosaur, but for the remainer of the series he retains his canine-like persona.
Dino was voiced (actually, barked like a dog) by Mel Blanc. Following his death in 1989, the role of Dino was taken over by Frank Welker.
