Doctor of Audiology

The Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) is the new designator of a clinical audiologist, and an Au.D. or Ph.D. will be required for board certification and licensure as a clinical audiologist by 2007. Educational programs for the professional degree, Au.D., last 4 years and include coursework and clinical practicum in all aspects of audiology.
