Doctor of Engineering

A Doctor of Engineering or Engineering Doctorate (D.Eng. or Eng.D) is a university academic degree.
By combining industrial sponsorship with academic excellence, the EngD caters for scientific research with a commercial edge- anecdotally similar to a combination of MBA and PhD. For engineering researchers, it is an alternative to the more academic PhD.
