Doddavaram Village is located in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh, India. It was said that, this village was known as Veera Narasimha Puri Agraharam during the reign of Addanki reddy rulers.

The village gave birth to many artists, Bhanumathi being the most famous film industry person.

Temples & Festivals

Thare are good number of famous temples like Sivalayam, SriRamalayam, Sri Narasimha Swami Alayam, Ankamma gudi, Chinna Ankamma gudi, Poleramma gudi, Veera Brahmendra Swami gudi, ..etc

Ankamma thirunaala is the most famous celebration of Doddavram with thousands of devotees coming from all the nearby villages. It's held in year by year, generally in the last week of March.

There's also a state level competition of Bulls, in the month of May: "Rashtra Sthaayi eddula pandem", where, the partcipants come from all over the Andhra Pradesh.

There is also a Church in Doddavaram.
