Dolchamar
Encyclopedia : D : DO : DOL : Dolchamar
Dolchamar ("Bittersweet") is a band that performs in the language Esperanto. It was formed in 1999 in London, but now resides in Finland. Its members play electronic rock and hiphop. During the International Youth Congress of Esperanto in 2003 in Lesjöfors, Sweden, they changed their name from Dolcxamar to Dolchamar, representing a change between two different conventions for representing the Esperanto word dolĉamar’, pronounced /dolʧa'mar/ — short for dolĉamara (literally "Sweetbitter"). The sole official member of the band is Patrik Austin since the KEF 2005 festival, but there is a variety of musicians performing with him on live concerts.

Ĉu vi pretas?
Ĉu vi pretas? is a hip hop song by the Esperanto band Dolchamar, on the album Lingvo Intermonda. The title comes from the chorus challenging, "Ĉu vi pretas por la veno de Dolchamar?" (Are you ready for the coming of Dolchamar?).External links
