Don's Plum is a low-budget black and white drama featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, who make crude jokes while hanging out in a Los Angeles diner. It was filmed in 1995-1996. Its release was later blocked in the U.S. and Canada by DiCaprio and Maguire, who argued they never intended to make a theatrical feature. It premiered February 10, 2001 in Berlin and Variety Magazine called it an "unpleasant and tedious ensemble."
It was also notable for being the last acting performance of Jenny Lewis before abandoning showbusiness to play in the band Rilo Kiley. Blake Sennett, also of Rilo Kiley, provided the soundtrack for the film.
