Don't Lose Your Head is the thirteenth Carry On film (and only one of two not to have "Carry On" in the original title). It was released in 1966. Set in France and England during the French revolution, it is a parody of Baroness Orczy's The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Plot outline

It is the time of the French revolution, and with Citizen Robespierre beheading the French aristocracy, two British noblemen — Sir Rodney Ffing (Sid James) and Lord Darcy (Jim Dale) — take it upon themselves to aid their French counterparts. Sir Rodney is a master of disguise, and becomes The Black Fingernail, scourge of Citizens Camembert (Kenneth Williams) and Bidet (Peter Butterworth), leaders of the French secret police.
