Donald James Thompson (born 20 January, 1933 in Hillingdon, London) was a British athlete who won a gold medal in the men's 50km walk at the 1960 Summer Olympics held in Rome, Italy. He also won a bronze medal at the 1962 European Championships for the 50km walk.
