Doodlebug, a word of uncertain origin often applied as a nickname to diminutive types, may refer to:
- Doodlebug (rail car), a self-propelled railroad car
- Doodlebug, the large-jawed larvae of the antlion; the term is sometimes used informally to describe other insects as well, such as the woodlouse or bombardier beetle
- Doodlebug, a nickname given by the British to the V-1 flying bomb during the Second World War
- Doodlebug, the name in the U.S. South for a dowsing rod to find minerals
- Doodlebug, another word for someone possessing stupidity; may be related to the Low German word for a fool or simpleton: dudel
- Doodlebug, a head high full toss made famous by cricketer Max Walker (Australian)
- DoodleBug, a harness for a hang glider that contains an Otto engine and propellor allowing the pilot to launch from flat ground.
