Dottie Cannon is the current Miss Minnesota USA 2006. As Miss Minnesota USA, Cannon is a representative of Future Productions. She is no stranger to beauty pageants, placed 2nd runner-up to Miss Minnesota USA 2005.
Cannon comes from Eagan, Minnesota and is twenty-two years old. On April 21, 2006 she competed for the title of Miss USA 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland. Cannon failed to place, but won the Miss Congeniality award which reflects the respect and admiration of the delegate's peers. The award recognises Cannon as the most congenial, charismatic and inspirational participant.
Cannon graduated from Eastview High School in 2001 and then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Management from the University of St. Thomas. She is currently employed as a Communications Specialist at Target Corporation.
Cannon is a talented and dedicated musician. She has achieved awards for piano and can also play the clarinet and the bassoon.
Her interests and hobbies include knitting, teaching Sunday school, teaching dance and practicing yoga.
