Doug Anderson is a columnist and writer for The Sydney Morning Herald, who specialises in film and television. He has served as an adjudicator at the Banff Television Festival.

The above Doug Anderson is not the person who wrote The Moon Reflected Fire. The Doug Anderson who wrote The Moon Reflected Fire also wrote Blues for Unemployed Secret Police and teaches at the University of Connecticut. There are many Doug Andersons.
