Doyle New York is an auction house. They are auctioneers and appraisers of fine art, jewelry, furniture, decorative arts as well as other categories. Approximately forty sales are held each year.
Founded in 1963, Doyle's has auctioned off artwork and personal possessions linked with and from the estates of many noted individuals. These have included performers James Cagney, Bette Davis, Ruth Gordon, Rex Harrison, and Rock Hudson; musicians Marian Anderson, Louis Armstrong, and Count Basie; and most recently interior designer Robert Denning.
