Dudleya

Dudleya is a fleshy, glabrous perennial. They store water in their succulent leaves, which are in basal rosettes. There are about 45 species, which are in southwest North America. Dudleya are named after William Russell Dudley, the first head of the botany department at Stanford University.
Cultivation
Dudleya should be planted at an angle. This prevents the buildup of water in the leaves, which may lead to the leaves rotting.Species
