Dunedin College of Education

The Dunedin College of Education (Te Kura Akau Taitoka) is a teacher-training facility in Dunedin, New Zealand. The college offers a wide range of courses in teaching, from early childhood to secondary. Founded in 1876, the college's main campus is in Dunedin, close to the University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic, with which it shares some facilities. A second campus, in Invercargill, opened in 1980.

The college's motto is maxima debetur pueris reverentia (the child deserves the greatest respect).

The College of Education is Due to merge with the University of Otago's Education Department to form a new School of Education based on the College site.
