Dunmore Lang College

Dunmore Lang College is a residential college of Macquarie University. Established in 1972, it was named after John Dunmore Lang, and now accommodates about 260 students. The college is fully catered and provides rooms with and without ensuites. The college student association, the Association of Dunmore Lang College Students (ADS) organises many social, sporting and cultural activities. The college has developed a friendly rivalry with its neighbour Robert Menzies College, and competes with it for an annual sporting trophy. Its current Principal is Lewis Rushbrook was formerly ousted from Burgmann College, when a combination of student, convocation and church representatives on the College's governing body combined to reject an extension of his tenure.
In recent years it has also developed a function centre that is let to private groups.
The ADS has close ties with the equivalent association at Robert Menzies College.
