E.C. Ferguson, along with E.F. Cady, co-founded Cadyville in 1860, which later became known as Snohomish, Washington.
According to the 1862 Census of Snohomish County, Washington taken by Sheriff Salem A. Woods, E.C. Ferguson was 29 years old, and was a native of New York City, New York.
