The E92 is a BMW automobile platform that will form the basis for the new BMW M3. It will be the first 3 Series with a V8 engine, providing about 415 horsepower

Insiders say that the M3's V8 is more compact than the current in-line six cylinder unit and weight distribution will be more balanced too thanks to the car's longer wheelbase.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six speed manual gearbox or the SMG sequential manual.

The M3 will feature four exhausts pipes, large air intakes, and front wing vents.

The M3 and the 3 Series coupe models are expected to be shown at the Paris Motor Show in September.
